| Rockstar Begins Manhunt 2 Marketing Campaign
London - Rockstar Games, the development division of Take Two Interactive, and the creator of the Grand Theft Auto series, has begun marketing the sequel to the violent game Manhunt. Envelopes containing two bloody medical bracelets and a letter were sent to game reviewers. The letter reads: "Enclosed are Danny Lamb and Leo Kasper's ID bracelets found discarded after last night's incident. This is the only potentially damning evidence we have found so far. I trust every possible precaution will be taken to ensure that any records relating to these patients are destroyed. "We are all too aware that both subjects pose a highly serious threat to society, let alone the very existence of ‘The Project.’ Both patients suffer severe psychotic episodes characterized by intense paranoia, involuntary psychotic reactions, delusional hallucinations and acute schizophrenic disorders.
The Manhunt continues
Rockstar Games officially announced today that Manhunt 2 is in development. Not so surprising is the fact that the g ame will be releasing for Playstation 2 and PSP. What caught us off guard was that Rockstar Toronto will also be developing a version for Wii. Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games, said, With Manhunt 2 we have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward. We are also excited to have our newest development team, Rockstar London, working on the title alongside our two established UK studios, Rockstar North and Leeds." Manhunt 2 is scheduled for release this summer. .
GTA IV Teaser Trailer To Debut This Month
You know what the game industry needs more of? Countdown clocks. No, seriously. It ups the excitement level through the roof, and guess what, folks, Rockstar has just thrown up a "countdown clock" at their Grand Theft Auto IV website. When that timer hits zero, we're all getting treated to the very first official trailer! The fated day is Thursday, March 29. The last time we had any new information concerning the next GTA installment was way back in May of 2006, and since then, we've all had to sort through mountains of fake videos, screenshots, and details. Of course, the only news we have here is the teaser trailer, but that's plenty big enough, right? It's just too bad we don't have any other info regarding the video; like what it might be showing, for example. But at the very least, it seems likely we'll finally know the environment Rockstar has selected for GTA IV, and that alone is enough to make us completely and totally stoked.
