NEW YORK--February 07, 2007--Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTWO), announced today that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories will be coming to the PlayStation 2 system. The title will be available in North America on March 6, 2007 and will be on European retail shelves on March 9, 2007.

Since its release in October, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for the PSP (PlayStationPortable) system has garnered praise and acclaim worldwide. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories offers PlayStation 2 system owners a big screen experience of the same storyline and missions, featuring the open-world, innovative gameplay, incredible production values and diverse music that are the trademarks of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

The gaming community was whipped into a frenzy this morning when Rockstar Games updated its official Grand Theft Auto IV webpage with a countdown to the debut of the game's official trailer on March 29.Though GTA IV is one of the year's most anticipated titles, information on the controversial crime series' next-gen debut has been hard to come by, in fact -- when the trailer debuts it will be the first new official information on the game since early May of 2006 when it was announced that the each console would receive it's own exclusive online content when the game ships this November.Stay tuned to MyGamer as the 29th approaches.

Grand Theft IV trailer countdown

Following the release of one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, Grand Theft Auto IV is inching its way upon us, closer and closer. It was just a matter of time before we got new information, but Rockstar Games has decided to give us more than their usual one or two screenshots and character introductions. That's right. We are finally getting a trailer. The length of the trailer is uncertain at this time, but we're hoping to get at least 5 minutes of footage to satisfy our Grand Theft Auto taste buds. For those who are counting down every moment until GTA IV's exclusive trailer release, Rockstar has granted fans such as yourself the pleasure of having a countdown timer on their website. Rockstar Games has updated their website with a new GTA IV section. There's nothing much on the page except a large "IV" (four) logo and a counter at the bottom that states the amount of time left until Rockstar unleashes the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV. March 29th will be the day everyone gets to see said trailer. Mark your calendar; only 27 days, 22 hours remaining...
