| Jack Thompson hopes to stop distibution of ManHunt 2 in UK - Wii ...
Renowned US attorney and activist Jack Thompson, more recently made famous for trying to claim $246 million worth of damages from Take-Two after he claimed that two teenagers accused of committing homicide were inspired by Grand Theft Auto III, is about to take up a new case. The subject of his attention this time around will be ManHunt 2. The following post is allegedly from a Man Hunt forum: "Miami attorney and anti-violent video game activist Jack Thompson has been asked by individuals in the United Kingdom to help stop the distribution of Take-Two / Rockstar's hyperviolent video game Manhunt 2 in that country due out this summer. The game will feature stealth murder and torture. The last version allowed suffocation of victims with plastic bags. The original Manhunt was responsible for the bludgeoning death of a British youth by his friend who obsessively played the game.

Angry Gaming 03.05.07: Brace Yourselves
Welcome to Angry Gaming, the place where all that leftover malice from Shadowhearts goes after each game. I am your hate master, Damian Sarcuni, and today I am referring to myself as the salami swami as much as possible. Feed me Seymour! Brace Yourselves Have you ever seen the Disney movie The Little Mermaid? Yeah you have, don't lie. Everybody saw that damn movie, and everyone loved it, or at least parts of it. There's something in that movie for everyone, from the god awful love songs to the maniac chef who keeps trying to cook Sebastian the crab. Personally, my favorite character in the movie is the sailor on Prince Eric's ship who only yells one line: "Hurricane a comin'! STAND FAST!! SECURE THE RIGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN'!!" That is the 2nd greatest line in all Disney flicks (the 1st is "How could you hope to defeat me? ME?! The mistress of all evil!!" in Sleeping Beauty) and ever since then I haven't been able to look up at a rain cloud filled sky without feeling the urge to belt that line at the top of my lungs.
Steward guides Warriors to victory
Donovon Barrett, the boys basketball coach at Buckeye Valley, watched Eastmoor Academy a lot in recent weeks, knowing that his team might face the Warriors in the district tournament. At times, Barrett admitted last night, it was difficult to know when the scouting ended and the appreciation of Eastmoor guard Ronnie Steward began. What became impossible, he said, was separating the two. "He is everything such a special player," Barrett said. "I saw him a lot this season when I scouted Eastmoor, and Ive seen him a lot during the summer. Hes a lot of fun to watch." Hes just not that fun to defend, as Barrett and the Barons learned in a 63-52 loss to Eastmoor in a Division II district semifinal in the Ohio Expo Center Coliseum. Steward, a 5-foot-10 senior headed to the University of Akron, had 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds to lead the top-seeded Warriors (19-3) into the district final against DeSales.
