In the past, Grand Theft Auto titles were always the sole domain of Sony. These are the games that were on the news, in the Playstation 2s of all your friends, and all over the walls of the game stores. Liberty City Stories also did a great job of getting people excited about the PSP when the system needed a boost. It's clear that Rockstar Games and Sony get along. Of course, in the latest console war Microsoft has gained much market share—not to mention mind share. This time around Grand Theft Auto 4 is going to be released on both the PS3 and the 360 simultaneously. This is a big boost for Microsoft's system, and a major loss for Sony's hardware; Grand Theft Auto was quite the system seller. In the latest conference call detailing the company's financial results we learned the release date for the game: October of this year.
Get Ready for Rockstar Manhunt 2!
According to reports, Rockstar Games of 'Grand Theft Auto' fame, has announced that they are working on the sequel to their controversial 2003 stealth-action 'Manhunt' game, 'Manhunt 2'.
The new 'Manhunt 2' is being developed for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) and PlayStation Portable (PSP) platforms, by several of their studios.

Senses Fail Announce Music Video Contest - March 01, 2007
As Senses Fail continue to gig their way across the U.S. on the Rockstar Taste Of Chaos tour, the band is announcing a new contest for their fans to create a video storyline for The Priest and The Matador. The song will be the third single off Still Searching and one lucky Grand Prize winners idea will not only be produced by www.NetStudio.tv, the winner will also receive a 30GB video iPod and $250 in cash.
Senses Fail announced the contest on their website, www.sensesfail.com and starting today, Thursday, March 1st, fans can go to www.NetStudio.tv to get detailed information on how to enter, contest rules and deadlines. There are multiple ways for fans to participate from creating to reviewing and multiple ways to earn cash prizes, as well.

GTA IV features Euphoria physics
Now here's a story for anti-freedom lawyer Jack Thompson, his nemesis Rockstar Games has announced it will be making use of NaturalMotion's Euphoria physics engine for several future titles, most likely including Grand Theft Auto IV.
If you've seen those impressive Indiana Jones demo movies from LucasArts, where Indy throws around a bunch of bad guys and breaks scenery then you'll know what an impressive slice of code the Euphoria Engine is.
According to NaturalMotion, Euphoria on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will, "simulate the human body and motor nervous system, thus creating fully interactive game characters that act differently every time. With euphoria, games move away from canned animation, towards a much richer, life-like experience that is unique to the player."
"Euphoria is about giving people an interactive experience they have never seen before," said Torsten Reil, CEO of NaturalMotion.
