Welcome to The Select and Start News Report, where shares went down another 75 points today. So unless down means up and 75 means 200, I'm screwed. Also, mark March 9th on your calenders everyone: That's when on Celebrity Deathmatch, it'll be Dave Chappelle vs. Carlos Mencia. It'll sort of ease the pain of Wrestling Society X about to be canceled and TNA screwing themselves. Big News METAL GEAR GOES OFFLINE, CREATING A TIME PARADOX [credit: 1UP, GameSpy] Enjoy your days of playing Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence online as much as you can, because Konami announced (in what some might describe as "earth-shattering") that the online support for the game will cease April 2nd.
Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer Coming
It's not a lot of information, but considering up until now we've received next to nothing, we're ready to gobble up any GTA4 tidbits we can muster. This one is news that a trailer for the game is coming to us before the end of the month: March 29th , to be exact. What the trailer consists of, whether it'll include actual gameplay, we have no idea. Presumably it'll at least give us a focus on what the next game in the franchise will be about and where it'll be set. Based on exactly no proof whatsoever, our guess is that the next GTA will take place in the near future and be set somewhere in quasi-Europe. Maybe an amalgamation of countries like London, Paris and Madrid, similar to what San Andreas did? All that being said, if this trailer comes out and is just a bunch of clips from old GTA games meant to hype up the next one with zero details about it, you're gonna see a lot of pissed off gamers.
Rockstar Games Offers Grand Theft Auto 2 For Free
Rockstar wants to school you on some of GTA's early roots with a free PC download. Rockstar Games has added Grand Theft Auto 2 (GTA2) to its "Rockstar Classics Free Download Series." From Rockstar's web site: "GTA2 has been completely optimized for play on modern PCs and is available gratis for all registrants to the Rockstar Games mailing list (rest assured your information will not be shared with any third parties, you will only receive information from Rockstar). Simply fill out the form below and check your email for a direct link to the file (353 MB .zip file, includes install .exe, readme .txt file, and a .pdf of the original PC game manual)." Rockstar Mailing Bloody Manhunt Medical Bracelets
Rockstar Games doesn't know how to court controversy? Ha! With its upcoming snuff-stealth game Manhunt 2 hitting this summer, the company has already kicked its PR machine into gear. Ben Kuchera at Opposable Thumbs received a letter from the Dixmor Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Inside, were two bloody medical bracelets and a letter that read: Enclosed are Danny Lamb and Leo Kasper's ID bracelets found discarded after last night's incident. This is the only potentially damning evidence we have found so far. I trust every possible precaution will be taken to ensure that any records relating to these patients are destroyed. We are all too aware that both subjects pose a highly serious threat to society, let alone the very existence of "The Project." Both patients suffer sever psychotic episodes characterized by intense paranoia, involuntary psychotic reactions, delusional hallucinations and acute schizophrenic disorders...
