| [Wii, PS2, PSP] Rockstar announces Manhunt 2
Rockstar has just announced through a press release that they are indeed working on a Manhunt sequel and it is being developed not only for the PS2 and PSP, but also for the Nintendo Wii. Below are some details regarding the announcement. New York, NY - February 6, 2007 - Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce Manhunt 2 for the PlayStation 2 system, PSP system, and Nintendo's Wii. Manhunt 2 is the debut title from the newly formed Rockstar London studio, which is developing the game in conjunction with series creator Rockstar North. The Wii version is being developed by Rockstar Toronto. Manhunt 2 will be available this summer. "With Manhunt 2 we have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward," said Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games.
Ask the Ethics Guy
Apparently one of my employees told him that he could dine anytime between 6 a.m. and noon, so he assumed that he could grab a meal before his early flight out. However, we do not begin serving until 7 a.m., so it was not possible to meet my guest's needs on his last day with us. I decided to make an unfortunate situation better by refunding him a full night's fee. My husband thinks that I should have simply given him back the cost of the breakfast. He says that being too generous is just as bad as not being generous enough. What do you think? A: Your husband is correct that it is possible to give too much of oneself, but I don't think your response fits this category. Although the ethical principle of fairness (what I call Life Principle No. 4) did require you to right the wrong, your going above and beyond the call of duty is praiseworthy.
New Manhunt Coming To Nintendo Wii, PS2, PSP
I have to admit, I don't think of Wii off the top of my head when I think of controversial video games involving graphic and bloody executions. But hey, Nintendo Wii is not NES, and variety is the spice of life. So Manhunt 2 is scheduled smack dab in the middle of summer. Welcome back, smilies! Rockstar Games recently announced that in addition to Wii, Manhunt 2 is also scheduled for Sony's PlayStation 2 and PSP. "With Manhunt 2 we have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward," said Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games. "We are also excited to have our newest development team, Rockstar London, working on the title alongside our two established UK studios, Rockstar North and Leeds." .
