Get Ready for Rockstar Manhunt 2!

According to reports, Rockstar Games of 'Grand Theft Auto' fame, has announced that they are working on the sequel to their controversial 2003 stealth-action 'Manhunt' game, 'Manhunt 2'.

The new 'Manhunt 2' is being developed for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) and PlayStation Portable (PSP) platforms, by several of their studios.

New Manhunt Coming To Nintendo Wii, PS2, PSP

I have to admit, I don't think of Wii off the top of my head when I think of controversial video games involving graphic and bloody executions.   But hey, Nintendo Wii is not NES, and variety is the spice of life.   So Manhunt 2 is scheduled smack dab in the middle of summer.  Welcome back, smilies!

Rockstar Games recently announced that in addition to Wii, Manhunt 2 is also scheduled for Sony's PlayStation 2 and PSP.

"With Manhunt 2 we have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward," said Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games. "We are also excited to have our newest development team, Rockstar London, working on the title alongside our two established UK studios, Rockstar North and Leeds."

Rockstar Makes Manhunt 2 for Wii

Some gamers probably thought it would never happen. Then again, many thought that the Wii was going to be a complete failure. Take-Two developer Rockstar Games has announced they are currently developing Manhunt 2 for the PS2, PSP and wait for it......Nintendo Wii. Yes, hell has frozen over and pigs are now flying. The deadly and gruesome sequel to Manhunt is coming to the kid friendly, family-oriented Wii console, PS2 and PSP this summer. "With Manhunt 2 we have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward," said Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games. "We are also excited to have our newest development team, Rockstar London, working on the title alongside our two established UK studios, Rockstar North and Leeds." When Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime said that Wii was going to cater more better to the adult-orientated gamer than the GameCube with more Mature rated titles, some hoped for the best, but most of us new what to expect.

AMC Hires Tranny To Play Tranny!

ABC soap All My Children got a bit of flack when they hired Jeffrey Carlson to play their now-legendary character, rockstar Zarf (who has since become Zoe). And with good reason - it's not like there aren't any tranny actors out there. Shit, when was the last time Kim Basinger had a gig?

Anyway, those of you who scoffed will no doubt be happy to hear that they've hired Colby professor, activist and known transexual Jenny Boylan to appear in a whopping one episode. New Now Next reports that post-op Zarf (we'll never be able to accept "Zoe") attends a tranny support group and Boylan offer a bit of gender-bending guidance. Ain't that grand?

When not acting and, of course, teaching, Boylan does a bit of writing - she's published the critically-acclaimed She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders.
