Steward guides Warriors to victory

Donovon Barrett, the boys basketball coach at Buckeye Valley, watched Eastmoor Academy a lot in recent weeks, knowing that his team might face the Warriors in the district tournament. At times, Barrett admitted last night, it was difficult to know when the scouting ended and the appreciation of Eastmoor guard Ronnie Steward began. What became impossible, he said, was separating the two. "He is everything such a special player," Barrett said. "I saw him a lot this season when I scouted Eastmoor, and Ive seen him a lot during the summer. Hes a lot of fun to watch." Hes just not that fun to defend, as Barrett and the Barons learned in a 63-52 loss to Eastmoor in a Division II district semifinal in the Ohio Expo Center Coliseum. Steward, a 5-foot-10 senior headed to the University of Akron, had 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds to lead the top-seeded Warriors (19-3) into the district final against DeSales.

Grand Theft Auto IV euphoria

February 27, 2007 - Planet GTA brings the news that Rockstar has signed a deal with NaturalMotion to use its euphoria engine for Grand Theft Auto 4. NaturalMotion, the award-winning developer of 3D animation technology based on Dynamic Motion Synthesis (DMS), today announced a partnership with Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing label, to integrate NaturalMotion's revolutionary euphoria engine into upcoming next-generation Rockstar Games titles. Rockstar's integration of euphoria is well advanced, with today's announcement following several months of close collaboration between the two companies.

Based on NaturalMotion's DMS technology, euphoria uses the processing power of PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to simulate the human body and motor nervous system, thus creating fully interactive game characters that act differently every time.

Manhunt 2 Coming To Wii, PS2, PSP

Take-Two announced today that Rockstar Games will be bringing the sequel to its controversial, ultra-violent snuff-stealth game Manhunt to the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable this summer.

Game development is being handled by the newly formed Rockstar London with a little help from the original Manhunt team, Rockstar North. Wii porting duties will be helmed by Rockstar Toronto (The Warriors). We'll assume that Rockstar Leeds will handle the PSP version, as their expertise lies in the handheld arena.

As a huge Manhunt fan/sadist, this is nearing the top of my most wanted list for 2007. One can only imagine the exciting new ways in which the Wii controller will be used to brutally and flamboyantly murder the dozens of street toughs your character is forced to exterminate.
