| Vice City Stories coming to the PS2. Wait, didn't they say...
Many of you will remember my visit to Rockstar that occurred last year. It was a good time, and I got to preview Bully and Vice City Stories. This passage in particular may jump out at you from the article: While I enjoyed Liberty City Stories, the PS2 version was not one of the better titles I've played this year, and I thought that releasing a straight port for $20 was silly when you were still moving good amounts of the PSP original for full price. I was assured, more than once, that Vice City Stories was PSP only; there will be no PS2 port. So you can imagine my surprise when this comes across my desk: New York, NY - February 7, 2007 - Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., announced today that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories will be coming to the PlayStation 2 system.

22:56 Manhunt 2 coming to Nintendo Wii (0)
One of the most controversial games of all time is not only getting a sequel, it is coming to the Nintendo Wii. Who said Nintendo was only for kids? Details of this rather shocking announcement after the jump. Manhunt 2 has been announced for the PS2, PSP and…the Nintendo Wii. Rockstar's title was one of the most controversial releases in gaming history and many stores refused to stock it. It also sparked a huge media frenzy about a possible link with violent behaviour. Simply put, it caused the industry a lot of problems. In development by Rockstar London, this will be the first title from the new southern studio and will be worked on in conjunction with Rockstar North. The Wii version is being developed by Rockstar Toronto. The game will be available sometime this summer.
16:38 Further detail dregs on Scarface: The World Is Yours (0)
We already know that the rumours of Scarface: The World Is Yours appearing on the Nintendo Wii have indeed proved to be true, with the 1.5 million-selling movie extension videogame expected to arrive on Nintendo's latest piece of home hardware in the summer of this year. But what we want to know is, what exactly will Tony Montana be bringing with him to the Wii version – and will it include his “little friend"? Based on the 1983 Universal Pictures gangster classic, Scarface: The World Is Yours delivers an action packed sequel storyline that dares to ask: “What if Tony Montana survived the mansion shootout" seen at the climax of the movie, and then returned to Miami in order to embark on a quest to rebuild his empire and exact vengeance on his enemies? While purist fans of the original Al Pacino-bolstered Scarface movie might have blustered fervently at the very notion of creating an entirely new IP around one of Hollywood's most famous and iconic (deceased) characters, but it certainly hasn't stopped Vivendi Games and Sierra Entertainment from notching up a confirmed gaming hit.
