Taste of Chaos was a test of tolerance

Large multi-bill concerts, such as The Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour at Arco Arena on Feb. 23, require due patience and a strong will. The patience is not for braving mosh-pits or long concession lines. No, the patience and will are required for sitting through acts of no-name bands that are often met with little more than a yawn and head nod.

The lead singer of Aiden, Wil Francis, probably put it best: Usually during these type of shows you have to sit through a bunch of bands you don't care about to get to the ones you do.

Being a big fan of The Used and Senses Fail, I was excited to see them live for the first time. Co-headliner 30 Seconds to Mars dropped out of the show because of an unspecified illness to lead singer Jared Leto, so that only meant more time for the bands I came to see.

Manhunt Begins Again

Rockstar Games today announced Manhunt 2 for PS2, PSP and Wii. The game is the first from long quiet Rockstar London in partnership with series creator Rockstar North. The Wii version of Manhunt 2 is being made by Rockstar Toronto.

"With Manhunt 2 we have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward," said Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games. "We are also excited to have our newest development team, Rockstar London, working on the title alongside our two established UK studios, Rockstar North and Leeds."

Manhunt 2 will release Summer 2007.

GTA IV Trailer Coming Soon

To call the “Grand Theft Auto" game a popular franchise may be a bit of an understatement. The series' last major chapter, “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas", sold 12 million copies for the PlayStation 2 alone and the franchise as a whole has sold over 50 million units, making it one of the most successful video game series of all time. The series' next chapter, currently known by the placement title “Grand Theft Auto IV", is set for release on October 16, 2007 across North America and three days later for European gamers. Speculation as to what new features will be in GTA IV, its location, storyline and who among Hollywood's A-list will supply character voices have been running high while Rockstar Games, the developer of GTA, has kept silent – but things are about to change.

The official website for “Grand Theft Auto IV" has been updated and a countdown clock added to the page to tick away the seconds until March 29.
